Moschino Toy 2 Bubblegum Review
OK, I will admit I blind-bought Moschino Toy 2 Bubblegum (Guilty as charged) but was it a mistake or a staple in my collection? Read on and find out my thoughts. I was pondering buying this for a few months and being a bargain hunter I waited till it was on sale and used my Superdrug points to treat myself to this cute pink teddy bear-shaped perfume.
Most of the opinions I see online about this cute pink transparent bear perfume are positive with people saying they love this fun bubblegum-scented perfume. I have seen the flip of the coin in which people say it doesn’t last long.
Moschino Toy 2 Bubblegum was released back in 2021 by perfumer Oliver PescheuxÂ
Read on to find out my thoughts on this adorable perfume. Spoiler alert, It’s not my cup of tea but it could be yours.
ProsÂ

Fragrance notes
Top: Candied Citrus Fruits, Italian Lemon and Orange Essence, Bubblegum and Blackcurrant
Heart: Cinnamon, Ginger, Peach Flowers, Juicy Vine Peach and Rose Essence
Base: Musk, Cedarwood Essence and Ambrofix
Moschino Toy 2 Bubblegum is a cocktail of sweet candy, bubblegum, and floral with a hint of spicy notes. As soon as I applied it I got the bubblegum and the rose notes. For me it’s a very sweet scent, well it would be with those fragrance notes. I did get the fruity notes after a little while of wearing the perfume.
Performance
I have seen other people’s reviews of this perfume not lasting long but for me, it was intense from the moment I wore it until I had a shower in the evening, that wasn’t a problem for me. I like the rose floral notes in this, I love floral perfumes.
When to wear Moschino Toy 2 Bubblegum
Since it’s a sweet yet floral perfume, the best time to wear this is during summer or holidays. For me personally, I am not overly keen on the overpowering bubblegum notes but I feel this perfume is a good choice for young people who are starting their perfume journey
How Much is it?
Prices for this perfume start at £64 for a 50ml bottle but if you are budget savvy or like a bargain, there are often sales on this perfume. I got mine for £36 last year.
Layering options
Since this is a very sweet yet floral scent I would pair it with something similar to those notes. Unfortunately, I have misplaced this perfume so I only have one suggestion to layer this with.
- Moschino Toy 2 Bubblegum with Gucci Flora.
Final Thoughts
If you love sweet and bubblegum-scented fragrances, this is perfect for you! I am not a huge fan of this and maybe only used it 5 times tops. The bottle is beautiful and I am a little sad I can’t find this because I want to try it again in the summer months and pair it with another perfume.
I feel this perfume would suit more of the younger crowd who are starting their fragrance journey, I am sure I would have loved this when I was 19-20 but my perfume choices have changed so much in the last 15 years.

The bottle is so cute but I am not sure I would want to be smelling of bubble gum. Interesting fragrance, maybe need to try it first hand to see how it lingers after some time on the body.
I had this one, and blind bought it as well. I like that the bubble gum is prominent, but I didn't like the florals mixed in with that kind of bubble gummy sweet, so I traded mine. It was 'almost' what I wanted, but not quite.
