Made by Mitchell – 16 Piece Ombre Makeup Brush Set Review
Who else when they go on TikTok, all they see is lives from with P.Louise or Made by Mitchell? I always get tempted because I am a trained makeup artist and love trying new products. I have lost many makeup brushes, but the Made by Mitchell 16-piece Ombre Brush set caught my eye!
Made by Mitchell is a makeup brand founded by makeup artist Mitchell Halliday in 2020. It has grown vastly in popularity over the years.
Keep reading to see my thoughts on the Made by Mitchell 16-piece ombre set ( spoiler alert—they are FABULOUS!).
Why I bought the Made by Mitchell 16 Piece Brush set
Most of the time when you get makeup brushes on the high street, they will have a good selection of base makeup brushes but when it comes to eyeshadow and eyeliner brushes they are few and far between.
Most eyeshadow brushes I have seen on the high street are too big to create a more detailed eyeshadow look. As a woman who loves using bright colours and creating a lot of detail, I need more smaller and detailed brushes, like the ones included in this pouch.
Included in this are 16 brushes and they come in a pouch. There are many ombre colours to choose from, I chose ‘Posey Rosey’ which is deep pink with the signature Made by Mitchell lime green.

Are they good makeup brushes?
I am so glad I got these brushes a couple of months ago. Ever since I bought them, I have used at least one of them in my makeup routine.
They are wonderful for creating details on eye makeup and wow I have to say I am impressed I am with the brow (angled definer) and eyeliner (mini liner) brushes, DEFINED every time so easily.
As for the precise crease brush, wow! It’s great for applying products onto the crease and I also love using it for a concealer brush.
Do they clean well?
If you are like me, then cleaning your makeup brushes can be a chore because sometimes it’s like getting blood out of stone. After all, sometimes products won’t budge.
Thankfully getting these brushes clean is wonderful! They clean up well. I either use my Iso cleansing spray or the cleansing soap for a more deep clean. They haven’t had any loose hairs yet.
How much are they?
I got mine for £15 on sale but you can buy them online for about £25 reduced from the RRP £170!!
My thoughts
I am chuffed friends, they work so well for me and I would recommend them to anyone who likes to create more detailed eye makeup looks.
Their other brushes for blush and cream-based products are amazing too. There isn’t one brush in this entire set I don’t like which is impressive!!
I can’t wait to try more looks with these brushes, they will be a staple from now on!!

My daughter is always looking for great makeup brushes and these appear to be very nice. From the looks of you makeup they apply makeup very well.

What a neat set! I like the color and how the handles and the bristles are all the same color. The variety makes it easy to apply different kinds of makeup.
